Product: Sanden ECO Heat Pump GAU-A45HPD – G5 Model
Subject: G5 - Correct connection of Power, Tank Thermistor and Wi-Fi cables
- A new feature of the G5 Heat pump is the ability to connect an external Sanden Wi-Fi Controller.
- This additional interface is labelled Modbus and it is found, BOTTOM Left in the connection enclosure.
- Therefore, there are a total of 3 connection points in the G5 Electrical enclosure.
- Prior to installation of any cables, consult Page 13 of the G5 Installation Manual and visually identify each connection point in the connection enclosure.
- Once all required connections are complete, and prior to powering the heat pump, recheck that the tank thermistor cable is connected to the TOP Left connector as usual.
- Please Note: Incorrectly connecting the Tank Thermistor cable to the Modbus or Power connectors will result in a damaged Tank thermistor with an Error H7.
