Charging with PV Surplus: Maximising Solar Utilization

The Fronius Wattpilot Flex is designed to optimise the use of your solar energy by automatically switching between 1-phase and 3-phase charging. This flexibility allows the system to start charging with a low power input of 1.38 kWh in 1-phase mode when there is minimal PV surplus available. As the surplus increases, the system can switch to 3-phase operation, which is beneficial for accommodating larger amounts of solar power, since 1-phase charging has its limitations. This capability ensures that the full potential of your solar energy is harnessed, maximising the efficiency of your PV system.
