Solar Victoria today have announced an expansion on the eligiblility for the solar panel PV rebate and interest free loans to include new homes under construction in Victoria.
"This is an excellent expansion to the program and we look forward to helping our clients achieve their rooftop solar PV outcomes now that new homes are eligible for the rooftop solar," said Pure Electric Director Paul Szuster.

"Our customers can demonstrate property ownership with a Council Rates Notice or a copy of their Certificate of Title. We encourage our clients to speak with Solar Victoria should they have any questions," said Mr. Szuster
Solar Victoria have also advised the application timeframe for homes under construction has been extended from 120 days to 270 days.
"We must electricify our housing stock as soon as possible and this is certainly a welcome assistance," added Mr. Szuster.
